Pva Class Reflection

Our Pva Class Reflection

We've come a long way since the beginning of our Pva class.  After a tough decision, we finally chose three amazing and legendary songs. Hey Jude by The Beatles, Superstion by Stevie Wonder, and Thriller by Michael Jackson.

I feel like i did improve quite a lot since the start if this class. From the start i wasnt able to sing harmonies and play the kolintang that much. But as time passes on i start to learn to sing the melodies. Yes it took a while to maker sure your hitting the right notes and being in the right pitch and all. But at the end it was worth all the practices the class had. And my kolintang skills got better when i played for Superstition.

But what i do need to improve on is singing louder. Ibu Megan always complained to the singers to sing louder when they sing. After the performance i finally understood what Ibu megan meant. Because i was quite disappointed that the harmonies wasnt loud enough (me included) and that the music took over our voices so it sounded muffled. So in the future i will practice on singing louder.

Before our performance, We had lots of practice for those three songs, and finally on December 4th, we performed in front of the whole angkatan. I have to be honest, i was pretty nervous at first since im the kind of person who doesnt like performing infront of a huge audience. But i think in the end that pressure is off my shoulders. Yes the performance has its ups and downs. It was deffinetly different than the practices we had. But the audience seemed to enjoy it very much.

So to conclude my reflection we did an awesome job on the performance and im sure Ibu Megan is proud of us. And yes, i will miss Ibu Megan very much because she is one of the most awesome teacher i have ever met :)
